What we do
International Collaborations works with Queensland government agencies, institutions and researchers to expand the state's international knowledge partnerships.
These partnerships seek solutions to global challenges such as:
- climate change
- the management of water resources
- development of clean energy supplies
- sustainability of our environment.
International Collaborations supports a wide network of researchers, educators and policy makers to ensure that Queensland obtains maximum benefit from its relationships with key governments and research organisations throughout Asia, North America and Europe.
Our programs
International Collaborations manages several fellowship programs that support the development of Queensland's knowledge partnerships. These include:
- the Queensland Smithsonian Fellowships including the Cooper-Hewitt Design Museum Fellowship
- the Queensland International Fellowships
- the Queensland Solar Thermal Fellowships
- the Queensland - China Climate Change Fellowship Program
