2008 Queensland Week Education Resource

The Queensland Government invited primary schools to actively join in the State's annual Queensland Week celebrations by using specially developed education resources.

The resources provided a wide range of lesson and activity ideas to encourage students to become involved in celebrating Queensland Week.

The education resources were aligned to learning statements from the new Queensland Early Years Curriculum Guidelines (QSA 2006) and core learning outcomes from the Queensland Years 1 to 10 Studies of Society and Environment Syllabus (QSCC 2001).

For further information regarding the 2008 Queensland Week Education Resource, email Events Coordination Department of the Premier and Cabinet at queenslandweek@premiers.qld.gov.au or phone 07 3405 5215.
