The 2008 Queensland Week RACQ Big BBQ, held on Sunday 8 June, was a huge success. Thousands of people flocked to the Roma Street Parklands for a day of entertainment, family fun and celebration.

Dorothy the Dinosaur, The Boogie Woogies Superhero Band and the team from The Shak, just to name a few, entertained the crowd. Eight thousand people enjoyed the free BBQ lunch and everyone got involved in the range of fun activities and workshops throughout the day.
